Terms of use
Last updated: 10/13/2026
This is a translation. Only the German version is legally binding.
1. Provider
The provider of the TravelReport app and your contractual partner for its use is the operator of sacasoft.com (see also legal notice):
Herwig DavidIhner Straße 35
66798 Wallerfangen
Germany
Email: contact@sacasoft.com
These terms of use apply to the free version and the full version.
2. Store license terms
The terms of the store from which you downloaded the app also apply to downloading and using it; the store's terms take precedence for the purchase and billing of the full version:
- App Store: Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA)
- Google Play: Google Play Terms of Service
3. Free version and full version
The free version and the full version differ in their functionality; the free version currently allows one travel report and no PDF. The current scope of the full version is described under Benefits and in the app. The full version is available as a one-time purchase (no subscription).
4. Purchase of the full version
- The full version is purchased in the app. The purchase is concluded with Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), who bill it via your store account. The applicable price is shown in the app before you buy.
- It is a one-time purchase without a subscription: there are no recurring costs, and no cancellation is required.
- The full version permanently unlocks the features described at the time of purchase, including in future versions of the app. We may additionally offer new, separately labeled feature packs for a fee; features you have already purchased remain unaffected.
- Refunds are subject to the rules of Apple or Google; your statutory rights remain unaffected.
- After reinstalling or on another device with the same store account, the full version can be reactivated via “Restore purchases”.
5. Right of withdrawal
You can only purchase the full version in the app via the App Store or Google Play; there are no direct purchases from us. For purchases in the EU, your contractual partner for the purchase is Apple Distribution International Ltd. (Ireland) on the App Store and Google Commerce Limited (Ireland) on Google Play. They inform you about the statutory right of withdrawal during the purchase, obtain the necessary consents and confirmations (e.g. for the early expiry of the right for digital content provided immediately) and handle withdrawals and refunds. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
6. Your data
Your travel reports are only stored on your device (see privacy policy). You are responsible for backing up your data yourself, e.g., via your operating system's backup or – with the full version – via “Backup” (restore with “Restore”) or by creating PDFs of your travel reports. This also applies to keeping backup files. The data is generally deleted when you uninstall the app; it may remain in operating system backups. Only record personal data of other people (e.g., the contact person at an accommodation) if you are entitled to do so.
The content you enter in the app belongs to you; we do not acquire any rights to it.
We do not guarantee that a backup can be successfully created, kept or restored; section 10 applies to liability.
7. Conversions
Conversions into the trip currency are based exclusively on the conversion factors you enter. The app does not retrieve exchange rates. The calculations are for your information only and are not binding financial, price or exchange rate information.
8. Rights of use and lawful use
The app, its software, design, texts, graphics and logos are protected by copyright; all rights belong to the provider or its licensors (open-source components are subject to their licenses, which are listed in the app). You only receive the right to use the app for your own purposes. In particular, you may not copy the app or parts of it (except for installing it on your devices via the store), pass it on, sell or publish it, modify, decompile or reverse engineer it, create derivative works from it or circumvent license and purchase checks. These prohibitions apply only insofar as mandatory statutory rights do not prevail – in particular use in accordance with the intended purpose including error correction, making a necessary backup copy and observing, studying or testing the functioning of the program (Section 69d of the German Copyright Act) as well as decompilation to achieve interoperability under the conditions of Section 69e of the German Copyright Act. Anyone who unlocks the full version without authorization acquires no right to use it.
9. Availability and further development
The app works without an internet connection; only the purchase check requires the respective store, whose availability we cannot influence. We continue to develop the app, e.g. through bug fixes, security updates, adaptations to new operating system versions and new or changed features. We do not restrict essential features of the purchased full version without good reason. Older app versions may no longer run on new operating system versions.
10. Liability and warranty
- We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act.
- In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations, i.e. those whose fulfillment makes the use of the app possible in the first place and on which you may rely; liability is then limited to the foreseeable, typical damage.
- For the free version, we are only liable for intent and gross negligence, except in the cases of the first point.
In the event of data loss, we are only liable for the effort that would have been required for restoration if data had been backed up regularly (section 6). Statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
11. Changes to these terms of use
We only change these terms of use with effect for the future and distinguish by the type of change:
- Editorial changes and clarifications, changes that only benefit you, and adaptations to changes in the law or mandatory store requirements apply from their publication on this page, insofar as they do not unreasonably disadvantage you.
- We will only make material changes to the scope of the purchased full version to your disadvantage with your express consent.
- We set prices in the respective store. Price changes apply only to future purchases; a purchase you have already paid for remains unaffected.
The current version is shown on this page with the date “Last updated”.
12. Applicable law and dispute resolution
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence. The statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
